Edmonton International Street Performers Festival | July 5 to 14, 2024

What do acrobats, ventriloquists, circus acts and all-round performers have in common? They can all be found on the streets of Edmonton during the Edmonton International Street Performers Festival! There are more than 60 international, national and local performers who will transform Dr. Wilbert McIntyre Park (the locals call this Gazebo Park) into a vibrant hotspot of entertainment with crazy, funny and exuberant performances. Taste of Edmonton | July 18 to 24, 2024

Get a taste of what Edmonton’s food scene has to offer at Western Canada’s largest food festival! Sample delicious dishes from more than 50 local restaurants and food trucks. K-Days | July 19 to 28, 2024

K-Days is an extravagant festival full of rides, games, music, food and adventure. The rides and games alone are totally worth a visit. Enjoy the fireworks show and taste the perfect meat from the barbecue and other delicacies.

Take the kids to Kids Town, where they can see some of the best entertainers for kids. Explore the Indigenous Hall with authentic food, shopping and entertainment. Edmonton Heritage Festival | Aug. 3 to 5, 2024

This is the largest multicultural festival in the world. This family-friendly festival brings together cultures from all over the world. Edmonton Folk Music Festival | Aug. 8 to 11, 2024

This great music festival takes place every year on the second weekend of August in Gallagher Park. Experience four magical days with the best artists, delicious food and a special setting during Edmonton’s oldest musical event.

Cariwest Caribbean Arts Festival | Aug. 9 to 11, 2024

Cariwest, Edmonton’s annual celebration of Caribbean art, music and culture, will take place in Churchill Square this summer. The 3-day event features a costume extravaganza on Friday night, the Saturday Cariwest Parade and a Caribbean Village throughout the weekend with live entertainment, the Kids Korner, tasty Caribbean cuisine and the Caribbean Market.

Edmonton Fringe Festival | Aug. 15 to 25, 2024

Edmonton’s hip Old Strathcona neighborhood is the stage for North America’s largest and oldest Fringe Theatre Festival. Nearly 1,600 local, national and international artists perform for 10 days and every genre is featured.
