Among the high mountains, crystal clear lakes and verdant nature of the Canadian Rocky Mountains lies the picturesque town of Jasper. Jasper once originated as a village along a train track and has always kept this authentic character. In 1907, the national park was established around the town. With a size of 11,000 km², Jasper is the largest national park in the Canadian Rockies and part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
